Both SureForms Free and Premium are now on version 2.12.8. The highlight is auto advance for Page Break and Conversational forms, making it easier for visitors to move through a form. This update also adds Distraction Free mode and fixes several issues.

What’s new

Move visitors through forms as they answer: Page Break and Conversational forms can now advance automatically when someone selects a single-choice answer. You can also hide the Next button for a more streamlined form.

Keep your dashboard focused with Distraction Free mode: Turn it on under Settings → General to hide SureForms review requests, plugin suggestions, and announcements while you work.

Better than before

Debug logs stay focused on real failures: Routine validation stops, such as an empty required field, no longer clutter the log.

Fixed

• Entry Logs now include the email notification sent after a form submission.
• Forms with a Register block no longer crash when opened in the editor.
• Temporary licensing server errors no longer deactivate your license or remove its saved key.
• Save & Resume messages and emails no longer split words in the middle.
• The Register block keeps its custom submit button text when you reopen the editor.

SureForms 2.12.7 brings two improvements that make the SureForms interface noticeably cleaner and more useful, patches a security vulnerability, and ships six fixes across free and Pro. Given the security fix, updating promptly is recommended.

What’s new

The Form Checks panel now stays out of the way. The panel in the form sidebar now appears only when there is something that genuinely needs your attention. When everything is fine, it stays hidden. The wording is clearer too, so when it does appear you know exactly what to do.

Fixed

Security fix (Pro): This update patches a security vulnerability. Props to nh4tvd for responsible disclosure. Update now.

Logged-in users blocked by login-required form restrictions (Pro): Forms restricted to logged-in users were incorrectly blocking visitors who were already signed in. Logged-in users can now access and submit these forms as expected. Fixed.

After-submission actions not completing when a form redirects: Actions like webhook triggers and integration deliveries were sometimes not finishing when the form redirected to another page on success. They complete reliably now. Fixed.

Forms losing styles and submit script on Breakdance and similar page builders: Page builders that buffer page output were stripping form styles and the submit script from the page. Forms now load correctly on Breakdance and any other builder that handles output the same way. Fixed.

Fields dropped from entries when a caching plugin serves an older page copy: When a caching plugin served a stale version of the page, some submitted field values were not making it into the entry. Every submitted field now saves correctly regardless of caching. Fixed.

Editor submissions counting toward conversion rate: Preview submissions made by site editors while testing a form were being counted in the conversion rate, skewing the numbers. Only real visitor submissions count now. Fixed.

Edit Form icon oversized in Divi: The icon was rendering too large in Divi layouts. It is the right size now. Fixed.

Form performance data right in the list view, a smarter way to diagnose submission issues, and a self-healing tool for a common database problem. Plus a quick fix to keep the editor tidy on the front end.

What’s new

Views and Conversion Rate now visible in the Forms list: No more opening individual forms to check how they are doing. Each form in your list now shows its total views and conversion rate at a glance. Spot your best performers and your problem forms without leaving the dashboard.

Enable Logs for diagnosing submission failures: Turn on submission logging and SureForms records every form submission failure to a downloadable file. Useful when something stops working on a live site and you need to know exactly what went wrong. Turn it on, reproduce the issue, download the log.

One-click repair for a missing entries database table: If SureForms detects that the entries table is missing from the database, it now flags it and offers a repair button. Submissions start saving again in one click, no manual database work needed.

Fixed

Edit Form button overlapping form fields on the front end: The button was sitting on top of form fields when viewing a form on the front end. It no longer does. Fixed!

Post Creation feeds not saving taxonomy terms for logged-out visitors or Subscribers (Pro): Taxonomy terms configured in a Post Creation feed were being skipped when the form was submitted by a logged-out visitor or a Subscriber-level user. They save correctly now. Fixed!

If your site uses a plugin like WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, or Autoptimize, this update makes sure SureForms plays nicely with your configurations and form submissions..

Fixed

Forms not submitting on sites with JavaScript optimisation enabled: Using WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, or Autoptimize? Form submissions were failing silently on those setups. Fixed!

Save & Resume, User Registration, and OttoKit Form response: The same JavaScript optimization conflict was impacting these features too. All three now work correctly regardless of your performance plugin setup. Fixed!

Multi-step forms collapsing into a single page: A Page Break block carrying certain block metadata caused all steps to display at once. Your multi-step forms are back to working as intended. Fixed.

Fatal error on PHP 8 with certain admin plugins: Plugins like The Events Calendar were triggering a PHP 8 fatal error in the admin. The conflict is resolved and both plugins coexist cleanly. Fixed!

This one is a behind-the-scenes release. No big new features, but two changes that make a real difference to how your form notifications look and how reliable your setup stays across WordPress versions. Plus a handful of Pro fixes that have been annoying the right people for a while.

Better than before

Email notifications with images now land more reliably: Images in email notifications are now saved to your Media Library instead of being baked directly into the email as raw data. Emails go out lighter, load faster in inboxes, and are less likely to get flagged by spam filters. If you send notifications that include images, you will notice the difference.

Squashed

WordPress 7.1 compatibility. SureForms now runs cleanly on WordPress 7.1. No issues, no warnings. Fixed.

User Registration website field mapping was broken: If you mapped the website field in a User Registration form, it was not saving correctly. The right value now goes to the right place. Fixed.

Partial Entry form names were showing a dash character instead of a hyphen: A small but genuinely annoying display issue where em-dashes were appearing in form names inside Partial Entries. Fixed!

The survey report date filter got stuck when no results came back: Selecting a date range with no survey responses caused the filter to freeze rather than showing an empty state. It now resets cleanly. Fixed!

What’s new

Jump to a form’s entries in one click There’s now an Entries shortcut in the Instant Form admin bar. Click it and you’re straight into that form’s entries. No navigating through menus.

Notify admins when a visitor saves a partial entry: When a visitor saves an in-progress form, you can now trigger an email notification automatically. The recipient field comes pre-filled with the site’s admin email, so setup takes seconds.

What that means for you:

• Reach out to visitors before they go cold
• Know immediately when someone saves a form mid-way
• Works with your existing notification setup. No extra configuration needed

Better than before

Improved WPML compatibility SureForms works more reliably with WPML. If you’re running a multilingual site, translation and form handling are more stable across language switches. 

Fixes

Security vulnerabilities patched: A security bug has been fixed and several hardening improvements are included. Update as soon as you can.

Entries search now includes submitted data: Search now scans submitted field data too, so finding a specific entry is faster and more accurate. Fixed.

A failed database update could stop forms from accepting submissions: In some setups, a database migration error was silently blocking new submissions. Forms accept submissions correctly now. Fixed.

Forms with default styles disabled no longer break the page: Disabling default styles on one form was aborting setup for every other form on the same page, causing multiple forms to render incorrectly. Gone.

Cloudflare Turnstile no longer shows a warning on WordPress 7.0: A compatibility warning was appearing on sites running WordPress 7.0. Resolved.

Payment History styles now load only on pages that need them: Styles were loading site-wide instead of only on pages with a Payment History widget. Fixed.

Number field alignment restored when “Use label as placeholder” is on: The number field was appearing misaligned with this setting enabled. Fixed. (Pro: The date picker now also respects this setting.)

FluentCRM now saves multi-choice answers as separate values: Answers were being saved as one concatenated string. They now map as individual values. Fixed.

Lost Password forms now send reset emails correctly: Reset emails weren’t sending when Login Link and Sign Up Link options were turned off. Gone.

2.12.1 adds one feature you’ll appreciate the first time an integration fails, plus four fixes that sort out some real day-to-day frustrations including a Gmail notification issue that made Repeater fields look broken. Let’s get into it.

 What’s New

Retry failed webhooks and integrations without resubmitting the form When a webhook or native integration fails to deliver, you can now retry it directly from the activity log. Each entry gets its own Retry button so you can re-send a single failed delivery instantly. There’s also a bulk “Retry Failed Webhooks / Integrations” action for when multiple deliveries need to go out at once.

What this means for you:

• No more asking users to resubmit a form just because a webhook timed out
• Recover failed CRM, email, or automation deliveries in a couple of clicks
• The bulk action handles multiple failures at once, so cleanup is fast

Fixes

Raw CSS no longer appears in Gmail notifications from Repeater fields An inline style block in the Repeater field’s table markup was being rendered as visible text in Gmail. Notification emails were showing raw CSS instead of a clean table. Removed. Fixed.

Reset form now works correctly across all fields The reset form option was silently failing for certain field types, leaving values behind after a reset. All fields are cleared correctly now. Fixed.

User Registration child fields now appear in Payment block mappers The Email and Name field mappers inside the Payment block weren’t showing child fields from User Registration container blocks. That left some setups unable to map correctly. They’re included now. Fixed.

Files with dots in their names now open without errors Uploading a file with a dot in its name like report.v2.pdf was triggering an “Invalid filename format” error during validation. The file would upload but fail to open. Resolved. Fixed.

Add conditional logic to Custom Buttons: The Custom Button can now be shown or hidden based on field values. Show a payment button only when a paid option is selected, or a next-step button only after required fields are filled. Hidden buttons also block submission correctly.

Better Than Before

• FluentCRM Date of Birth fields now map correctly: Date Picker values are normalized to YYYY-MM-DD before mapping, so birthday data sends without a format error.
• Page Break settings are easier to find: Progress indicator, label visibility, and button text now appear directly in the block’s inspector panel with a note clarifying they apply form-wide.
• Settings panels restored for single-tab blocks: Block settings are accessible again in affected configurations.

Fixed

• PayPal subscriptions now cancel through PayPal, not Stripe. Fixed.
• Multiple Cloudflare Turnstile widgets on the same page now validate correctly. Generic submission errors from multiple widgets are gone.
• Stripe Payment Element now renders on live accounts with Bacs Direct Debit, Link, Cash App, or BNPL enabled. Squashed.
• Form editor restored on WordPress 6.x sites running ThirstyAffiliates, Ninja Forms, or Gravity Forms. Older-style block conflicts are resolved. Fixed.
