Digital Signature
The Digital Signature feature in SureForms allows users to sign forms using a mouse, stylus, or touch input, or by uploading an image of their signature. It’s perfect for forms requiring consent, authorization, or acknowledgment.
Accessing the Signature Block
You can add the Signature block to your form from the SureForms builder panel. It appears alongside other form elements and can be dragged into the desired position within your form layout.
Configuration Options
When you add the Signature block to your form, a settings panel appears on the right-hand side, offering customization options similar to other fields:
- Required Field: Mark the field as required and customize the error message that appears if the user skips it.
- Pen Color: Choose a custom color for drawing the signature to match your form’s style.
- Upload File Size Limit (MB): Signatures are saved and uploaded as image files. You can set a maximum file size limit, up to 5 MB.
Advanced Settings
In addition to standard settings, the Signature block supports:
- Conditional Logic: Show or hide the block based on responses to other fields, enabling dynamic and responsive form behavior.
- Advanced Use Cases: Integrate the Signature block with other advanced logic or custom workflows as needed.
Front-End Experience
On the front end, the Signature block offers a smooth and intuitive user experience:
- Draw Signature: Users can draw their signature using a mouse, stylus, or touch-enabled device.
- Reset Signature: A reset button allows users to clear and redraw their signature if needed.
- Upload Image: If enabled, users can upload an image file of their signature as an alternative to drawing. (Also, you can upload an image file of their signature as an alternative to drawing.)
The signature will be saved in PNG format and cannot be edited through the Entry Management system.
