Email Field

The Email field in SureForms allows users to enter a valid email address. It’s ideal for collecting user contact information, such as for newsletter signups, user registrations, or support forms.

Key Attributes

  • Default Value:
Set a predefined value for the field. You can enter it manually or use Smart Tags.
  • Read Only:
Make the field non-editable on the frontend. Requires a Default Value.
  • Required:
Ensure users must fill in this field before submitting the form.
  • Validate as Unique:
Validate as Unique checks if the value entered in the field has already been used. This helps prevent duplicate entries.
  • Enable Email Confirmation:
The Enable Email Confirmation option adds a second email input field to the form, requiring users to re-enter their email address. This helps prevent typos and ensures that the entered email is accurate. The form will only submit if both email fields match exactly, improving the reliability of collected contact data.
  • Help Text:
Help Text is a message you can show below any Email field to guide users on what to enter.
