SureForms Integration with Telegram
This guide explains how to integrate SureForms with Telegram at both the global and form levels.
Global Settings
Step 1: Access SureForms Settings
- From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to SureForms → Settings.
- Click on the Integrations tab.
Step 2: Add Telegram
- Click the Add Integration button.
- From the list of integrations, select Telegram. You can also use the search bar to find it quickly.
Step 3: Connect Telegram
Telegram connection
Telegram integration allows you to send instant messages, photos, videos, audio, or documents to your Telegram channels, groups. This helps in automating communication, alerts, or notifications directly via Telegram.
To connect, you’ll need a Telegram Bot Token.
How to get the Telegram Bot Token
- Open Telegram and search for the BotFather.
- Start a chat and send the command /newbot.
- Follow the instructions to set a name and username for your bot.
- Once done, BotFather will provide an API Token — this is your Bot Token.
Now in SureForms:
- Select Telegram connection, and add your Bot Token.
- Click the Save Changes button.
- If the Keys are correct, you’ll see: Integration configured successfully!
- The Telegram connection is now added.
Form Settings
Step 1: Open the Form Editor
- Go to SureForms → Forms from your WordPress dashboard.
- Open the form where you want to integrate Telegram.
Step 2: Add Telegram to the Form
- In the right-hand panel, click on the Integrations tab.
- Click Add Integration.
- Select Telegram from the list of global integrations.
Step 3: Configure Telegram Integration
1. Select Tab
- Add a Workflow Name (required field).
- Select an Action from the dropdown (required field).
- Send Message
- Send Photo
- Send Video
- Send Audio
- Send Document
- After selecting the action, click Continue.
2. Configure Tab
- Configure the fields based on the selected action (e.g., Chat ID, message text, file URL, caption).
- Once done, click Continue.
3. Test Tab
- Click Test Workflow.
- If successful, you’ll see the message “Workflow “Telegram – Send Message” tested successfully! The integration is working correctly.”
- Finally, click the Save Changes button.
The Telegram Workflow is now added.
Integration Complete
Your form is now connected to Telegram. Every submission will automatically trigger the selected Telegram action (such as sending a message, photo, or file) according to your workflow setup.
