Conditional Confirmations in SureForms

Conditional Confirmations allow you to show different success messages or redirect users based on the form data they submit. This helps you create a more personalized and flexible form experience.

What Are Conditional Confirmations?

With Conditional Confirmations, you can:

  • Show different success messages based on user input
  • Redirect users to different pages or URLs
  • Pass form data to another page using query parameters
  • Control what happens to the form after submission

This feature is available in the latest SureForms update.

How to Set Up Conditional Confirmations

Step 1: Open Form Settings

  • Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
  • Navigate to SureForms.
  • Open the form where you want to add conditional confirmations.
  • Click on Form Settings.

Step 2: Open Conditional Confirmations

  • Inside Form Settings, locate Conditional Confirmations.
  • Click on it to view the available options.

Step 3: Add a New Confirmation

  • Click on Add New.
  • Enter a Confirmation Name. This is for internal reference only.
  • Select the Confirmation Type as Success.

Configure Confirmation Type

Option 1: Success Message

You can display a custom success message after form submission.

  • Edit the confirmation message directly
  • Or add a custom HTML template if needed

Option 2: Redirect After Submission

Instead of a message, you can redirect users after submission.

You have two redirect options:

Redirect to Page

  • Select an existing page from the dropdown

Redirect to Custom URL

  • Paste the full URL in the Custom URL field

After Submission Behavior

Once the form is submitted, you can choose what happens next:

  • Hide the Form after submission
  • Reset the Form to allow another entry

Set Up Conditional Logic

This is where you define when a specific confirmation should apply.

  1. Enable Conditional Logic.
  2. Choose when this confirmation should trigger:

Add Conditions

    • Ends With
    • Contains / Does Not Contain
    • Regex Expression
  3. Enter the value for comparison.
  4. Use AND to add multiple conditions if needed.

Add Query Parameters (For Redirects)

When using redirection, you can pass form data to another page using query parameters.

  1. Enable Add Query Parameter.
  2. Add a Key and Value.
  3. Map form fields as values if required.
  4. Click Add More to include additional parameters.

This is useful for tracking, personalization, or showing dynamic content on the redirected page.

Once everything is configured:

  1. Review your conditions and confirmation settings.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Test the form to ensure the correct confirmation is triggered.
