Translate SureForms With Loco Translate
You can use Loco Translate to translate SureForms forms into your preferred language. This guide explains how to make your form elements translatable step by step.
Note: Before starting, ensure you’ve installed and activated Loco Translate on your WordPress site.
Access Loco Translate
Once you have Loco Translate installed, follow these steps:
- Go to Loco Translate > Plugins.
- Select “SureForms” to make all the elements in the free version translatable.
Note: For advanced fields (e.g., file upload) included in paid plans, select your SureForms Pro plan, such as “SureForms Starter.”
Add a New Language
Once you’re inside the plugin, follow these steps:
- Click “New Language” here.
- Choose the language you want to use and decide where you want to save your translations.
Note: Use the “Custom” location to prevent your translations from being overwritten during updates.
Click the “Start Translation” button once you’re done.
Translate Form Elements
In the following screen, you’ll see all the translations available within your SureForms editor.
You can simply select a text or search for it and translate it. For example:
- Search for the preferred text and select it under “Source text”.
- Enter the translation for the selected text here. For example:
- Click the “Save” button at the top to save your translation.
Apply Your Translations
Finally, go to Settings > General from your WordPress dashboard and select the language you want to translate your text into.
Click the “Save Changes” button to apply this change.
The selected element in your SureForms editor will be translated now. For example, the block label “Multiple Choice” will be translated into our editor.
