Understanding Payment Processing Fees
This guide explains the fees involved when accepting payments through SureForms. SureForms supports Stripe for payment collection, and the fees you pay will depend on your SureForms plan and Stripe’s own pricing.
Processor Fees
SureForms does not charge Stripe’s processor fees. These fees come directly from Stripe and are standard across the online payment industry.
Stripe charges processing fees to cover:
- Secure payment processing
- Fraud prevention
- Operational costs
Because Stripe’s rates may change over time, we recommend checking the Stripe pricing page for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Stripe
Stripe has different types of fees depending on the payment method, the customer’s location, and whether currency conversion is needed.
Standard Stripe Fee
2.9% + 30¢ per successful transaction
Additional Stripe fees may apply:
- +1.5% for international cards
- +1% for currency conversion
Stripe Standard Fee Example
| Description | Amount |
| Form Payment Total | $30.00 |
| Stripe Standard Fee (2.9% + 30¢) | -$1.17 |
| Net Profit (before SureForms fee) | $28.83 |
SureForms Transaction Fees
SureForms adds a small transaction fee depending on your active plan. This fee helps support product development, updates, and customer support.
The fee structure is simple:
| SureForms Plan | Additional Transaction Fee | Total Fee Applied |
| Free Plan | 2.9% | Stripe Fee + 2.9% |
| Starter Plan | 1% | Stripe Fee + 1% |
| Pro / Business Plans | 0% | Stripe Fee only |
Upgrading to Pro or Business removes all SureForms transaction fees.
