Honeyspot Security

Honeyspot Security is designed to protect your forms from spam submissions and bots. It works by adding a hidden field in your form that real users won’t see.

When a bot fills out your form, it interacts with this hidden field, and SureForms recognizes this as a spam attempt. This method is invisible to human users, so it doesn’t interfere with your form’s appearance or usability.

Honeyspot Security doesn’t require the user to solve any challenges like a CAPTCHA. This keeps your forms simple and user-friendly while blocking spam effectively.

In this article, we’ll explain how to enable and use Honeyspot Security in your forms.

How To Enable Honeyspot For Your WordPress Forms

Follow these steps to set up Honeyspot in your forms:

  • Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to SureForms > Settings.
  • Navigate to General and turn on the “Enable Honeyspot Security” option.

Once enabled, your form will be protected from automated spam bots, while still providing a smooth experience for your users.
