Restrict Form Entries in SureForms
With the SureForms update, you can now restrict the number of entries for a specific form. This feature is useful if you only want to collect a limited number of submissions or if you want the form to close automatically after a certain date and time.
How to Enable Entry Restrictions
1. Open Form Settings
- Go to the form you want to edit.
- Navigate to General Settings.
2. Access Advanced Settings
- In General Settings, click on Advanced Settings.
- A popup will appear with the form restriction options.
Restriction Options
1. Maximum Number of Entries
- Enable the Maximum Number of Entries toggle.
- A text box will appear where you can enter the maximum number of allowed submissions (e.g., 100, 200, or any number you want).
2. Restrict by Date and Time
- You can set a date and time after which the form will automatically close.
- Use the date picker to select the last valid date.
- Select the time, including hour, minutes, and AM/PM.
3. Custom Message for Users
- Add a custom message to display when the form is closed.
For example: “This form is now closed as we have received all the required entries.”
Frontend Behavior
- Once the maximum number of entries is reached or the selected date/time has passed, the form will automatically close.
- Users will see your custom message on the frontend instead of the form.
